Hordoloşoğulları Sülalesi Avar Türklerinden olup , Orta Asya'da ki Horasan bölgesinde yaşamış, Buradan ise Şirvan (Şimdi ki Azerbeycan sınırları içinde ) bölgesine göç etmiş ve bu bölgede yaşamıştır. Bölgeden Göç sebebi Türk Hun Devletinin zayıflaması ve Oğuz Hanlığının güçlenmesi ile göç edilmiştir. M.S IX. yüzyıl da bir süre bu Kafkasya(Şirvan) Topraklarında yaşandıktan sonra, Kafkas Kartalı Şeyh Şamil'in yaşamış olduğu Dağıstan bölgesinde ikamet edilmiştir. Büyük Selçuklu İmparatorluğunun Komutanı Sultan Alparslan'ın Anadolu'yu Fethi ile beraber Selçuklular Zamanında tahmini M.S XI. Yüzyılda Hordoloş soyunun bir kolu Erzurum bölgesine gelmiş ve burada yaşanmaya devam edilmiştir. Osmanlı İmparatorluğu Sultanı Fatih Sultan Mehmed Han (k.s) tarafından yıkılan Pontus Rum İmparatorluğunun hüküm sürdüğü bölgeye Türkleştirme politikası olması hasebiyle Osmanlı İmparatorluğu tarafından Karadeniz bölgesine yerleştirilmiş ve bu bölgede Hordoloşoğulları yaşamaya devam etmişlerdir. Günümüzde Sakarya - Rize - Artvin - İstanbul - İzmir ve Mersin başta olmak üzere yurt içinde ve yurt dışında çeşitli bölgelerde soyumuzun devamı olarak yaşamaya devam etmektelerdir..
