Mutakhir kini, dalam era globalisasi yg serba maju seiring dengan kecanggihan teknologi, kita sering melihat penularan isu-isu falak kontemporari tersebar meluas dalam media sosial seperti whatsapp, telegram, facebook, instagram dan sebagainya. Ini telah memberi kemudahan kepada kita untuk mencari dan memperolehi maklumat tersebut. Isunya, adakah maklumat yang mudah untuk diperolehi ini, mampu ditapis dan dipastikan kebenarannya? Justeru itu, satu aplikasi yang dinamakan i -TABAYYUN merupakan aplikasi untuk menyemak isu tular berkaitan falak kontemporari. Aplikasi ini bertujuan untuk mengenalpasti isu-isu falak yang palsu dan mengetahui isu yang sebenar berdasarkan al-quran dan pendekatan tabayyun oleh Imam Syafi'ie sebagai satu cara bagi menyelesaikan masalah ini.
