Fen lisesinde yabancı dil öğretimine karşı velilerin tutumunu anlatan uygulama
Yabancı dil öğretimi tanımsal olarak bireyin kendi anadili dışındaki diğer dilleri öğrenebilmesi ve hâkim olabilmesi için gerçekleşen süreç olarak ifade edilebilir. Yabancı dil öğretimi sadece bugün değil, geçmişimizde de öğretimi ve öğrenimi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Fen Lisesinde Yabancı Dil Öğretimine Karşı Velilerin Tutumu: Rize İl Örneği isimli projemize başlamadan önce literatür taraması yaptık. Literatür taraması sonucunda elde ettiğimiz verileri Dünyada Yabancı Dil Öğrenmenin Önemi ve Yabancı Dil Öğrenimine Olan İhtiyaç, MEB’de Yabancı Dil Öğretimi, Öğrencinin Yabancı Dil Dersine Karşı İlgisi, Öğrenciden Kaynaklanan Zorluk, Veli ve Çevrenin Öğrenci Üzerindeki Etkisi adı altında 6 farklı kategori haline getirerek “Doküman Analizi” yöntemi ile inceledik. İncelediğimiz yayınlar sonrası özellikle Fen Lisesi velilerinin yabancı dil eğitimine bakış açısını konu edinen çalışma olmadığını fark ederek bu alanda öğrencisi Rize ili fen lisesinde okuyan 50 farklı veliye ulaşılmış ve hazırladığımız Yarı Yapılandırılmış Form ile velilerin yabancı dil eğitimine yönelik tutum ve düşünceleri öğrenilmeye çalışılmıştır. Fen Lisesindeki Yabancı dil öğretiminde başarı için veli tutumunun önemli bir faktör olduğu şeklindeki hipotezimiz doğrultusunda başladığımız projemizin sonucunda öğrencilerin yabancı dil dersine karşı ilgisinin yüksek olduğu, eğitim tekniğinin hatalı olduğu, öğrencilerin geleceği açısından yabancı dil eğitiminin önem arz ettiği, bu yüzden de öğrencinin kendini geliştirmesi gereken becerinin konuşma becerisi olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Projemizi geniş halk kitlelerine ulaştırabilmek, tanıtabilmek, etkinliğini arttırabilmek amacıyla mobil uygulama hazırlanmış ve dijital ortamda kullanıma sunulmuştur.
